Thanks to your donation, we have helped the animal shelter several times. Unfortunately, we are still forced to raise funds for pets affected by the war in Ukraine. Many of them were left abandoned on the streets because their owners went abroad, many were evacuated from the war zone, and most of them were seriously injured. I personally visited one of these shelters in my native Uzhgorod in July when I went to Ukraine for volunteer work. The name of the shelter Everyone has a second chance, in a very bad state. They face serious financial problems every day, but they continue to fight and do not give up. I was shocked by the courage of these women who care for more than 150 dogs and about 70 cats, some of which are seriously ill and require serious and expensive treatment. For the shelter staff, every day is a challenge, there are days when these pets simply have nothing to feed …. this is just awful.
